2010 Honda Accord EX V-6

Family Friendliness: 7.7

Recommended: Not Yet Driven

Specifications also apply to EX-L V-6 models.

What it Is: A full-size four-door sedan.
Who it's For: Families who prefer a traditional sedan and need no more than two LATCH points.
What's Hot: Roomy interior and Honda's reputation for reliability.
What's Not: The Accord's a little more expensive than other big sedans.
How It Got Its Score: The Accord is one of the highest-scoring V-6 sedans out there thanks to its fuel economy and very good safety scores. Fuel economy is good, too, although not as good as the four-cylinder.

When Honda introduced the current-generation Accord for the 2008 model year, it moved the sedan up into the large-car category. This vastly improved interior room, especially in the rear seat, which makes using a child seat easier. The EX is the middle-model Accord, and the V-6 model offers plenty of power and an added dose of refinement compared to four-cylinder models. Considering the power, fuel economy is pretty good although still far behind four-cylinder models. Regardless, the Accord V-6 is one of the highest scoring V-6 sedans out there, and is worth a look if you want the extra power of a V-6.
