2010 Cadillac SRX 3.0 Front-Wheel Drive

Family Friendliness: 8.0

Recommended: Not Yet Driven

Specifications apply to this model only.

What it Is: A small midsize, five passenger luxury crossover.
What's Hot: Generous cargo room, lots of available features.
What's Not: Many of same features available in less expensive GMC and Chevy versions.
Family Friendly Options: Navigation, rear-seat entertainment
How It Got Its Score: The 2010 Cadillac SRX is a midsize crossover, although just barely, so its Family Friendliness score is correspondingly higher.

Mechanically, the Cadillac SRX 3.0 is very similar to the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain, which are both based on the same underpinnings. However, it offers slightly more interior room, bumping it into the midsize category, and improving its Family Friendliness score. Surprisingly, this more expensive luxury crossover also gets slightly better fuel economy. On the other hand, it offers slightly less cargo space. However, most of these differences are minor, and the biggest difference between the SRX and its less expensive siblings is its style. Inside and out, this is one good looking crossover, managing to look expensive and classy and aggressive all at the same time.
