2011 Toyota Sienna LE V-6 8-passenger

Who it's For: Families who need sliding doors, maximum passenger and cargo room and no more than three LATCH points.
What's Hot: A clever way to store the eight passenger seat without compromising cargo room.
What's Not: 8-passenger seating only available in more expensive models.
How It Got Its Score: The 2011 Toyota Sienna earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick for its excellent crash test scores. Along with its other strong attributes, the Sienna is a very family-friendly minivan.
The 2011 Toyota Sienna is available with a four-cylinder, but many customers will likely still opt for the V-6. Luckily, they can do so even on the base model, and for a price well under $30,000. However, if they want eight-passenger seating, they have to move up to the more expensive LE model, or possibly the somewhat sporty SE, which price and equipment-wise slots between the LE and XLE. Still, we like the Sienna's new style inside and out, and are happy to see that even the base model adds a good amount of standard equipment, such as cruise control, three-zone manual air conditioning and plenty of other power accessories. If you want the V-6 for added towing capacity then by all means get it, but when we drove the Sienna, we thought that the four-cylinder performed quite well, with a noticeable dividend at the pumps.
