What it Is: An entry-level luxury compact sedan.

What's Not:
V-6 models can get pricey.
Family Friendly Options: Navigation, keyless entry, back-up camera (Technology package)
How It Got Its Score: The Acura TSX is a good looking compact sedan, with lots of luxury features. However, its $35,000 asking price and compact dimensions hurt its Family Friendliness score.

The Acura TSX may well be the best looking Acura currently available, as the now-signature Acura grille treatment looks best on this compact sporty sedan. For the 2010 model year the TSX got an optional V-6 engine, putting it on par with competitors from BMW, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, and others. However, like other compact luxury sedans, its price -- more than $35,000 -- and small trunk put it at a disadvantage compared to other small non-luxury brand sedans. The lower fuel economy of the V-6 engine only compounds the problem. However, we like the navigation system and a back-up camera in a vehicle this size is somewhat rare, even in the luxury segment. We think that the TSX is definitely worth a look if you're in the entry-level luxury segment.
