2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6 V-6 Rear-Wheel Drive

Family Friendliness: 7.1

Recommended: Not Yet Driven

Specifications apply to all rear-wheel drive models with the 3.6-liter V-6.

What it Is: A premium four-door, five-passenger luxury sedan.
What's Hot: Beautiful to look at, bigger than similarly priced competitors.
What's Not: Expensive, options add up quickly.
Family Friendly Options: Bluetooth, navigation, backup camera, USB port.
How It Got Its Score: The 2010 Cadillac CTS goes up against many cars that cost the same but are smaller, giving the Caddy's big trunk and extra interior space an advantage.

The 2010 Cadillac CTS with the 3.6-liter V-6 engine is a step above the base model, offering more standard features and power, but without a huge hit on fuel economy. It's more expensive, however, which hurts its Family Friendliness. Otherwise though the CTS 3.6 offers the same advantages as the less expensive versions. It's bigger than cars like the Audi A4, so it offers more passenger and cargo space. It's also rear-wheel drive, giving it an edge among luxury car buyers who prefer that kind of layout instead of cars like the front-wheel drive Acura TL. It also doesn't require premium fuel, which many rivals do. You can order a six-speed manual transmission and save $1,300, too, although fuel economy doesn't improve. The 2010 Cadillac CTS is also a beautiful car both from the outside and the inside; in fact, it has one of the nicest interiors we've ever seen. If you have a little extra to spend and want to pamper yourself, it's definitely worth a look.
