After a year's hiatus, Nissan is preparing to re-introduce its Quest minivan, and has unveiled more teaser photos and a new microsite for those who are interested in receiving updates about the new van. Originally teased at the 2010 New York Auto Show, the 2011 Nissan Quest is shaping up to be a classy-looking and potentially upscale competitor to the newly introduced 2011 Toyota Sienna and recently unveiled 2011 Honda Odyssey. Since Nissan has introduced virtually no information about the Quest's specifications, we're left to read the tea leaves from the photos, and so far we like what we see. From a visual standpoint, the 2011 Nissan Quest will be the least minivan-ish looking minivan on the market. The nose looks more like a crossover or SUV, and the wraparound rearmost windows are meant to evoke the stylish and popular Nissan Cube. However, we think the rear end looks more like the 2010 Ford Flex, which still isn't a bad thing. For a full gallery and more prognostication, click Read More. Interiors are more important than exteriors in the minivan world, and at least from the driver's seat, the 2011 Nissan Quest may be a tough act to follow. The dash design itself is classy and upscale, looking more like it was lifted from Nissan's Infiniti luxury division than from its Nissan contemporaries. The gauges are large and clear, and the navigation system is mounted high on the dash. The rest of the interior remains a mystery, but with two sliding doors, we expect the usual minivan standards of multiple cup holders and flexible seating. We'll find out more after we have a chance to get behind the wheel ourselves this fall. 2011 Nissan Quest Preview Gallery
